About Spider

Active in the queer community since the early 90s, Spider B. Perry started writing about queer & trans issues online in 2000. In addition to writing, editing or consulting on over half a dozen roleplaying game lines, he writes LGBTQ+ fiction and poetry; speaks on the overlap of queerness and Judaism; and has worked with multiple synagogues on updating their language for queer inclusion.

After over a decade in the financial sector, he left to found NerdyKeppie in 2017. He runs this queer clothing company with his partners; a 100% trans & queer staff; and four rescue pit bull mixes. Spider often jokes that instead of a college degree, they got a kid and a securities license. Find him talking endlessly on social media about disability, LGBTQ+ history, and why Sisko is (still) the best captain.
